Keller Street CoWork is thrilled to celebrate its eighth anniversary this May! In 2018, in the vibrant heart of downtown Petaluma, this new space emerged, not with the ambition to disrupt an industry, but with a heartfelt desire for something authentic: human connection, creative energy, and a sanctuary where individuals could discover a sense of belonging. As we reflect on this incredible journey, our hearts are brimming with gratitude. Over the years, we’ve witnessed countless collaborations, friendships, and ideas flourish within our shared spaces. From startups finding their footing to established companies broadening their horizons, Keller Street CoWork has acted as a nurturing ground for innovation, creativity, and community.
What animated those early days at Keller was a belief that a more human, communal, and vibrant way to work and live was possible. What was created transformed into more than just a coworking space; it became a true sanctuary for connection. The goal was simply to create something that was deeply needed, especially during those solitary moments of working, parenting, and questioning if others shared the same feelings. It turned out they did, and the doors were opened wide to anyone drawn to the space. People came to work, but also to connect and dream alongside one another. The reality is: impact isn’t measured by square footage or the number of people around a large table. It resides in the stories, friendships, and the tears shed when individuals realize, “This is the work life I’ve been searching for.”
When the pandemic hit, many small spaces closed their doors. With lots of hard work and dedication this one remained open. This was not the only hardship that Keller endured, but definitely the hardest (for all). Our success serves as a testament to the vibrant members and dedicated staff who form the heart of this community. It’s the shared stories, laughter, and occasional challenges that have woven the fabric of our culture—one of resilience, support, and collective growth. We celebrate our victories and cherish one another through thick and thin. These walls are more than just furniture and beautiful artwork; the shared experience of a true coworking space unites us.
